Everyday Life and the Sixth Sense

I was recently at a bank handling business when another patron arrived after me.

The employee was new and, therefore, not familiar with the unusual client issues, requiring some extra time to acquaint herself with the matter.

The whole appointment didn’t take long, maybe 10 minutes, but just as we were finishing up business, the patron who arrived after me said, “I won’t hate you for this.”

Why would anyone even think like that? A short wait in a bank could cause someone to think such negative thoughts? Expending so much energy for the most minor everyday inconvenience is worth a discussion.

The everyday, unavoidable hassles of life are just not that important and certainly not worth complaining about. Take that precious time to deflect from negative thought and use the time to devote to inward relaxation and revival. Simply do the following:

1. Breathe deeply

2. Give thanks for all you have

3. Relax and center yourself

That’s all you have to do to avoid internalizing inconveniences and you will actually be more sixth sense healthy.
